Well you might be surprised, as we got on great guns when we met James, The Canoe River Cleaner and identified lots of ways we could work together moving forward.
We know that when working away from home, there might be lots of unexpected pressures heaped on you, due to the unfamiliarity of surroundings, location and not least being away from family and friends.
So here at Coppergate we do all we can to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible, not only when you’re inside the apartment but also connecting you with the wider community.
This led us to seek out opportunities to collaborate with not only the usual suspects of a gym and other similar sports facilities but we are also now proud to be associated with James The Canoe River Cleaner and share his ethos when it comes to his environmental work.

But in a nutshell, along with his everyday environmental work, he offers local people and visitors to the area the opportunity to get out and about amongst nature and is full of interesting local and environmental facts and figures.
Fancy a walk?
Grimsby is nestled conveniently between the Humber and the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds. It therefore offers a myriad of different walks from flat coastal strolls to more challenging walks up hills and through valleys.
You are more than welcome to join James and his friendly group, every Monday evening on these complimentary walks which operate 52 weeks of the year, setting off from various locations.
Or as an alternative, bespoke trips can be tailored to meet your needs especially if you prefer something a little quieter.

Canoe Trips
James also offers one-on-one canoe trips. These are short excursions perfect for those wishing to see the areas wildlife from a different perspective, enjoy some exercise with a difference, or simply benefit from a little time-out. 
Coppergate have worked with James in providing an all inclusive package for our guests which includes a pick up and drop off service and refreshments too.
Meaning you can simply relax knowing that all is taken care of… apart from a bit of paddling.
Canoe trips: £120 (this includes pick up/drop off, all equipment and refreshments) please allow upwards of 3 hours.
